PCRT Reconfigurable Nest
The novel PCRT reconfigurable nest system enables the user to adjust and support the test components, on the piezoceramic transducers, in as many configurations possible within the rotational limits of the ball joints. The flexible joints before hydraulic pressurisation are easily adjustable by hand, and will be stiffened once the optimised positions have been identified. This system can be re-used on several components of different geometries simultaneously, saving hardware costs while maintaining a high level of positional accuracy.
