The ASTM Standard Practice for Process Compensated Resonance Testing is Now Available
The ASTM Standard Practice E2534-10 for Process Compensated Resonance Testing has finally been published by ASTM International, after a four-year cooperative effort with Magnaflux US and Dr. Surenda Singh of Honeywell US.
This general procedure has been approved by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM),for using PCRT to identify metallic and non-metallic parts' resonance pattern differences for Non-Destructive Testing purposes. It serves as an official guideline to the usage of this cost effective and accurate NDT solutions in many industries including automotive, aerospace, and power generation.
