Process Compensated Resonance Testing

PCRT is an advanced Non-Destructive Testing technique. It uses dry coupled transducers and a swept sine frequency input to excite the component.
A resonance spectra of an excited component can be logged and compared to spectras from known sound and known defective parts.

Unlike previous resonance-based techniques, the system employs software algorithms and temperature compensation to enable acceptable manufacturing variations to be accounted for, whilst rejecting small spectral variations outside the group of acceptance, which denote out-of-spec defects in components.
